Beer, demos, swag, & teammates at TECHtoberfest

There are a couple months remaining in Hack the Block, so we’d understand if you’re still in the brainstorming stages. If you’re really on your game, you may have already started hunting for teammates. You can always send a shoutout to your fellow hackers on our participants page, or strike up a convo on our discussion forum.

But in case you want to look for collaborators in person, we thought you might want to know about an event our friends @ Hipsters, Hackers & Hustlers are throwing together in London. Upshot: there’ll be plenty of beer on hand to get the collaboration under way.

Enthusiasts of the London startup scene are clearly big fans of their tech . . . and their beer. So it makes perfect sense for the two to be combined for the riotous and raucous TECHtoberfest, “(probably) the BEST beer and tech festival in the world!”

Set in the caverns of London Fields Brewery in the heart of Hackney, TECHtoberfest will offer plenty to keep your inner geek deliriously happy,  including hands-on demos of all the latest tech and gadgets, Oompah bands, and of course heaps (or should that be hops) of beer and bratwurst to keep those bellies full!
